Jo can name the action, acknowledge its effect and ask how to help repair it. “I erased this part; may I help rebuild it?” offers an action. Alex is not required to forgive immediately or accept physical contact.

Repair also involves avoiding repetition: agreeing how to handle materials or using a copy. An apology does not automatically remove the impact; the agreed action needs follow-through.

A disagreement about a drawing differs from threats, repeated humiliation or pressure to hide something dangerous. These situations do not have to be resolved alone or by confronting a threatening person. Children can seek a trusted adult; others can seek safe support appropriate to the context.
