Ask clearly for support

Dani got stuck on an instruction. “I cannot do anything” describes frustration but does not locate the difficulty. We can build a request that shows where help is needed.

Let's discover together

  1. 1

A request can contain three parts: the goal, what has been tried and the current question. “I want to compare the leaves. I sorted by size. How do I compare shape?” helps someone guide the next attempt.

  2. 2

You do not need to speak publicly to ask for help. Dani can write, point to the instruction or use a communication aid. Support and accessibility are part of learning; they do not have to be earned through a score.

  3. 3

A helper can show an example and give Dani a small next attempt. If the explanation does not work, another presentation can be requested. Asking for help does not transfer the whole task to someone else.

A moment to understand

Why can describing what was tried help?

I need a hint

The request gives context for useful guidance. Its purpose is to support understanding and another attempt, not demand that someone do everything.
