One clue is not the whole story

Robot A won one race. Does that prove it will always be faster? Let’s calibrate our confidence.

Let's discover together

  1. 1

Evidence is information that helps evaluate a claim. One race result tells us about that race, not every possible race.

  2. 2

Ask where information came from, how it was obtained and whether other observations agree. Many copies of the same note still share one origin.

  3. 3

It is okay to say “I don’t know yet.” A careful conclusion changes when better evidence appears; that is learning, not losing.
