Mission: an idea after the conversation

The Ideas Council will try a rule for the tablet. You may defend equal turns or small steps with a maximum time. Build a reason, face a real objection and record how your idea changed after listening.

Let's discover together

  1. 1

Start with either of the exercise’s two proposals. Choose a reason that actually supports it and an objection addressing its limit. The activity accepts both starting points; it does not choose your opinion for you.

  2. 2

If you start with equal turns, consider saving and resuming steps or trying small steps with a limit. If you start with steps, consider a visible queue with a maximum time or trying equal turns with a way to resume. No response removes every limit.

  3. 3

Revising does not mean changing sides under pressure. You can adjust a proposal, change it for a reason or suspend judgment when information is missing. In this exercise, practice an adjustment or change that addresses the chosen objection.

  4. 4

Read the assembled dialogue. Then write your own version in your workbook or “My files”: question, initial position, reason, another voice, revision and open question. The options check relationships between ideas; your free text receives no automatic grading or score for your belief.

✦
YOUR MISSION

Build a coherent dialogue and a justified revision, acknowledging something that still needs inquiry.

Now it's your turn

Mission: an idea after the conversation

Fictional model with two defensible proposals. Choose a coherent set; the check examines connections between statements, not the best rule for every club.

Ideas Council

Two proposals can have coherent reasons. Check the connections between statements, then write your own version. The workshop does not decide your opinion or grade free text.

Choose all five parts to assemble the dialogue.

A moment to understand

What signals a justified revision?

I need a hint

The revision needs to connect what was heard to the resulting proposal. Changing an answer alone does not demonstrate that connection.

How can I tell what I learned?

Use the objectives and challenge below for reflection or a conversation with someone who can help. This is guided self-assessment: it sends no answers, awards no XP and does not automatically verify independence.

In Discovery, explain an idea in your own words and apply it to another simple example. Drawings, speech and adult support are valid. Record what help you needed.

Your transfer challenge

My own dialogue (use fictional characters): 1. What question do I want to investigate? 2. What did I defend, and why? 3. How would another voice raise an objection without caricature? 4. What did I revise or decide to keep, and for what reason? 5. Who has not yet been heard? 6. What would make me revise again? Reread: does the response address the objection? If you talk with someone you trust, invite them to correct your summary without requiring agreement.

Keep evidence: prediction, attempt, result, an original change and what you still cannot explain. Seek feedback when possible; if studying alone, return later without copying and compare attempts.

Try again another time

After a break, explain the idea without opening the solution and try a different example. Compare with your first attempt: what can you do independently, and where do you need a hint? You may write, speak or draw; choose a way to check the same idea. Record help received, including AI, and revisit the part you need. There is no universal deadline or extra XP for this record.

Completions and XP record Rullst Academy assessments. An introductory track can help everyday life and prepare further study; alone it does not prove complete mastery or professional readiness. Level indicates depth, not age.

My files and GitHub

Every lesson can become your own record: code, notes or a practice plan. Saving a file to GitHub is optional and does not change your XP.
