An answer is not evidence

The answer sounds confident, but Lumi spots information that does not match the museum notice.

Let's discover together

  1. 1

Generative models can produce false information and nonexistent references. A confident tone does not prove a claim.

  2. 2

Open and check a cited source: does it exist, is it relevant, and does it support the claim? Asking for sources does not replace checking them.

  3. 3

When evidence is missing, record the uncertainty. Do not invent an answer to fill the gap.

  4. 4

A convincing image or voice can also be fabricated or taken out of context. Check origin, date and independent evidence. Do not decide something is true just because it looks realistic, or false based only on an odd detail.

✦
YOUR MISSION

Check the opening time in the provided source and classify an unverified reference.

An answer is not evidence

Fictional scenario: the current notice says “opens at 10”. The prepared answer says “definitely opens at 8” and cites a book you could not find.

A moment to understand

What if two reliable sources disagree?

I need a hint
