Let's discover together

  1. 1

Git records file versions in a repository. It can work on your computer without a GitHub account.

  2. 2

GitHub hosts repositories and provides collaboration tools such as issues and pull requests. Git and GitHub are different things that can work together.

  3. 3

A repository brings files and history together. In this project, index.html will be the page and README.md will explain how to use it. You can finish this entire track in the Rullst Academy without creating an external account.

A moment to understand

Is GitHub required to use Git?

I need a hint

Git works locally; hosting on GitHub is a separate choice.

My files and GitHub

Every lesson can become your own record: code, notes or a practice plan. Saving a file to GitHub is optional and does not change your XP.
